Welch Allyn MicroTymp 4 Tympanometer Description
The NEW Welch Allyn MicroTymp 4 helps verify middle ear conditions and improve diagnostic accuracy by providing objective analysis of tympanic membrane mobility and condition of the middle ear.
It is available as a complete kit with a printer (93700) or without a printer (93700-NP) and with included TympView software provides a point for patient and parent education and helps support referrals. Results can be viewed on a PC and a PDF copy of the test results can be saved and printed.
Welch Allyn MicroTymp 4 93700 Tympanometer Features
MicroTymp 4 features two testing options:
Tympanometry: 226 Hz probe tone, tympanic peak pressure, admittance at peak, ear canal volume and gradient
Acoustic Reflex Measurements: Ipsilateral reflexes, four frequencies, configurable reflex settings, and automatic detection
In addition to otitis media, the MicroTymp 4 tympanometer helps detect these other pathologies: perforated tympanic membrane, patent tympanostomy, ossicular disruption, otosclerosis, tympanosclerosis and cholesteatoma.
