Each needle is forged from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for maximum strength, ductility and hardness and manufactured with German-designed robotics to ensure precise quality, smooth finish, diamond points, honed edges and repeatability.
Sharpoint PolySyn™ Suture with PS-2 Needle Utilization
Surgical Specialties’ PolySyn™ / Undyed Absorbable Poly Glycolic Acid Braided Suture has extraordinarily smooth, low friction proprietary coating which reduces tissue drag. These synthetic absorbable sutures ensure closure through the critical wound healing period. They retain approximately 50% of their high initial strength at two weeks and 20% of their strength at three weeks with mass absorption between 50 and 90 days. PolySyn™ common uses include: Skin Closure, Obstetrics / Gynecology, Urology and Gastrointestinal. Essentially comparable to Comparable to VICRYL™ and Polysorb™/Dexon suture.
Sharpoint PolySyn™ Polyglycolic Acid uni-directional suture is available in lengths from 45cm to 90cm, sizes from 6-0 to 1 and Precision Conventional Cutting, Precision Reverse Cutting, Reverse Cutting, Straight Cutting and Taper Cutting and Taper Point Needles.
