Comfortable Top Systems All Midmark and Ritter Exam Table, Exam Chair and Procedure Chair top systems are designed with a steel reinforced seat pan manufactured to support patients in a seated or reclined position (designed to prevent seat deflection and breakage seen in competitors models). The upholstered top is easily removed without tools via patented knob system. Patient Accessibility: The Ritter 229 ADA Compliant power exam chairs have an uncompressed low seat surface height of 17”; and meet the US Access Board guidelines being enforced in 2026. This feature allows direct transfer from most wheelchairs and accessibility for disabled patients. The low height is also a safety factor for healthcare providers by minimizing the lifting and handling of patients.
Powered Back: Let the Ritter 229 chair do the work for you. The powered back section helps the caregiver safely move all patients to and from seated and prone positions.
Clean Assist Roller System The retractable roller base allows you to easily and safely move the chair for cleaning on the 229-003 model. This option was developed to meet infection control standards in high volume clinics and hospitals.
