Quill Monoderm Suture P3 PRC Needle
Quill™ barbed uni-directional single needle suture is a time-saving knotless approximation closure device with variable adjustable loop that eliminates the need to tie knots to secure the closure. The barbed design evenly distributes tension, offering a unique combination of security and speed—increasing both efficiency and value. Barbs are arranged in a spiral along the suture and the adjustable loop design allows for easy needle placement.
Quill Barbed Monoderm Uni-Directional P3 Needles Utilization
Surgical Specialties’ Monoderm / Undyed Absorbable Monofilament (PGA and E-caprolactone) Suture has excellent pliability and handling characteristics and is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and / or subcuticular ligation. At 7 days it retains 42 to 76% tensile strength, 14 days 36 to 52% and is essentially absorbed between 90 days and 120 days. Comparable to Monocryl™ and Caprosyn V-Loc™ 90 suture.
Quill barbed knotless Monoderm uni-directional suture lengths available from 15cm up to 70cm, sizes from 4-0 to 1 and Precision Fine Reverse Cutting, Reverse Cutting and Taper Point Needles.
