Sharpoint Polypropylene Suture with FS-2 Needle Utilization
Surgical Specialties’ Polypropylene / Undyed Non-Absorbable Monofilament Suture has superior tensile strength compared to other monofilaments. In addition, a unique extruding technique ensures a uniformly round cross section and a strand that passes easily through tissue and is easy to handle. Polypropylene is not absorbed, nor is any significant change in tensile strength retention known to occur in vivo. Polypropylene is indicated for use in general and skin closures, Abdominoplasty, Plication, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and Microsurgery. Essentially comparable to Prolene™ and Surgipro / Surgilene™ suture.
Sharpoint Polypropylene uni-directional suture is available in lengths from 45cm to 122cm, sizes from 7-0 to 0 and Precision Conventional Cutting, Precision Reverse Cutting, Reverse Cutting, Straight Cutting and Double Armed Taper Point Needles.
