Sharpoint Monoderm with PS-2 Needle Utilization
Surgical Specialties’ Monoderm / Undyed Absorbable Monofilament (PGA and E-caprolactone) Suture has excellent pliability and handling characteristics and is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and / or subcuticular ligation. At 7 days it retains 42 to 76% tensile strength, 14 days 36 to 52% and is essentially absorbed between 90 days and 120 days. Comparable to Monocryl™ and Caprosyn suture.
Sharpoint Monoderm uni-directional available suture lengths from 45cm to 90cm, sizes from 6-0 to 1 and Precision Conventional Cutting, Precision Reverse Cutting, Reverse Cutting, Straight Cutting and Taper Point Needles.
