Use: Tungsten Carbide Mayo Hegar needle holders are our most popular model and are used for a variety of surgical procedures from minor to major tissue suture closures.
Manufacturing: The top of the line Miltex Line of Tungsten Carb-N-Sert Needle Drivers are highly crafted surgical instruments that are engineered and manufactured with smoothly beveled locks and jaw edges that help protect suture from cutting or snagging. The jaw surfaces are manufactured with bonded and durable tungsten carbide inserts. Teeth are milled into the tungsten carbide forming distinct pyramidal shapes to provide a jaw surface that provides a non-slip grip on needles and suture. The edges of the inserts are milled to prevent accidental suture cutting or abrading.
