Quill™ barbed bi-directional double armed suture is a time-saving closure device that eliminates the need to tie knots to secure the closure. The barbed design evenly distributes tension, offering a unique combination of security and speed—increasing both efficiency and value.
Quill Barbed PDO Double Armed PS Needles Utilization
PDO (Polydioxanone) synthetic absorbable monofilament suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and / or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, ophthalmic or microsurgery. At 14 days it retains 80 to 90% tensile strength, 60 to 82% at 28 days and 47 to 79% at 42 days and is essentially absorbed between 180 and 220 days.
