Blue Diamond® Viscoelastic Polymer Gel Positioners are a reusable gel positioner used primarily as a surgical positioner to offer pressure reduction during medical/surgical procedures.
The Blue Diamond® gel pads are designed to reduce sheer and friction. They are also a dry viscoelastic polymer which is recommended by AORN standards.
The Blue Diamond® Gel OR Table/Hip pad is 20"w x 20"l
It is a squared pad that fits the foot section of most operating tables on the market. It is also used as a versatile pad because of its dimensions; it can be rolled as a bolster, or wrapped around an extremity if desired
Blue Diamond® Surgical Positioners are Latex, Silicone and Plasticizer Free
Antimicrobial and Antibacterial
The pads can be heated and cooled following appropriate instructions
Blue Diamond® Pads can be repaired; they are a solid material and will not leak, ooze or evaporate
The pads and positioners are rated self-extinguishing
Positioners are X-Ray translucent
Blue Diamond® positioners posses a 1/4" continuous seal to the outer edge of the product, eliminating the chance for contaminants to collect between the skins
