When considering storage for clean endoscopes and their accessories one needs to take into account the environment that these items will be stored in. Endoscopy Cabinets that serve the dual purpose of storage and ventilation need to be constructed of materials that can be easily cleaned. Endoscopes should be stored in a manner that protects them from damage and at the same time minimizes the possibility for residual moisture accumulation and possible microbial growth. At a minimum Endoscope Storage Cabinets should have openings that allow circulation of air. MedWurx was not happy with just the minimum!
MedWurx has created a Clean Air Ventilated Endoscope Storage Cabinet that ensures full cabinet ventilation. Two fans at the top of the cabinet continuously pull air through a disposable micro clean air filter. The air is then expelled through strategically located vents at the bottom of the cabinet. The MedWurx cabinet meets endoscope manufacturers' specifications for storage in a well-ventilated cabinet.
